Sir Richard Cory-Wright, 4th Baronet

Sir Richard Michael Cory-Wright Bt (born January 17, 1944) is the 4th Baronet Cory-Wright.

He is the son of Captain Anthony John Julian Cory-Wright (1916–1944), who was the oldest son of Sir Geoffrey Cory-Wright, the 3rd Baronet Baronet Cory-Wright.[1] Captain 'Julian' Cory-Wright was killed in action on June 26, 1944, aged 27, at Saint-Manvieu, Normandy in France.[2]

Sir Richard Cory-Wright married Veronica Mary Bolton, daughter of James Harold Lucas Bolton, in 1976. They divorced in 1994. He next married Helga Godfrey, daughter of George James Godfrey, on November 11, 1998.[1] He was educated at Eton College and gained the rank of Lieutenant in the Leicestershire and Derbyshire Yeomanry. He graduated from the University of Birmingham in 1965 with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree. He succeeded to the title of 4th Baronet Cory-Wright of Caen Wood Towers, Highgate St. Pancras, co. London and Hornsey, co. Middlesex on the death of his grandfather, the 3rd Baronet, on March 23, 1969.[1]
